A few weeks ago Frances and I decided to head out to Ms G’s, after hearing about it from friends and reading reviews on food blogs (highly rated by the way) so we thought we’d give it a try. Ms G’s is famous for their mix of Vietnamese, Chinese & Korean food. Also famous for their Cheeseburger Spring Rolls, Fried Chicken and the Mini Banh Mi. So we couldn’t wait to try them out. Getting there was a bit of a drive if you live out west. You’ll be battling the traffic and not to mention the parking situation at Potts Point is a headache (You have been warned!). After doing a few laps around the block we thanked the parking gods, as we found one on the same street as Ms G’s and it was just in walking distance. Lets begin!

As you walk in you are welcomed by the vibrant sounds of people chattering, chilled music and people everywhere. Mind you this was around lunch time! From the outside you’d think this was a small place, but it was actually 4 levels, all chocked full of hungry patrons. The wait wasn’t long and we were shown our seats in a matter of minutes, which was great!

The place was fitted out with long hanging ropes, graffiti’d walls and intimate booths. It had a hip vintage feel to it and was all tied up with a nice view of the city.

Nothing like a few bottles of wine and Sriracha sauce with your food.

Oh and a few sake shots as well and no we’re not alcoholics….

So what did we order? No doubt we ordered the Cheeseburger Spring Rolls and the famous Mini Banh Mi. Both were delicious, I would highly recommend getting both of these dishes and sharing it.

So good, I’m definitely coming back for seconds!

Next up we ordered the Salt & Vinegar Eggplant Tempura, this was probably my favourite dish of them all.[/vc_column_text]

Overall, I enjoyed the experience. The food was awesome and the atmosphere & ambiance was lively. I would definitely recommend it if you don’t mind the drive up, I can’t wait to go back and try out the rest of the food on the menu.
